Europ Assistance free iPhone app for breakdown assistance

20th October 2010 Print

The Europ Assistance Group is pursuing its dynamic of integrating new technologies into its service and product offer by launching MyMobility, a free iPhone and iPad 4.0 application that will enable all Europ Assistance Group customers with an iPhone throughout the world to access numerous functions that facilitate daily driving. These include emergency calls, roadside assistance, a maintenance calendar and searches for authorized distributors and garages.

MyMobility, an application currently being tested in Brazil, where Europ Assistance Group is a major player in the automotive sector, will shortly be deployed in all 35 countries where the Group is present through a subsidiary.

After users have supplied their profiles and insurance cover details, the MyMobility application simplifies formalities so that they can obtain roadside assistance even more quickly, whatever the problem (breakdown, accident, vehicle theft, fire, vandalism, etc.), according to the cover included in their policies. If need be, in only a few clicks, the application transmits the driver's details and location so that breakdown assistance can be provided even more easily and rapidly.

With its intuitive, ergonomic design, the MyMobility application, connected to iPhone geolocation tools, also make it possible to find the nearest garage for car repairs or an oil change, speak directly with the garage staff and even enter any appointment in the iPhone calendar with the garage's contact details.

A genuine facilitator for motorists in terms of day-to-day driving and mobility, the MyMobility application also provides a vehicle maintenance calendar, which, for example, automatically calculates the next date for servicing, indicating the details of the type of service to be carried out.

With this new innovation, the Europ Assistance Group maintains its determination to boost services for drivers by ensuring them optimum mobility in emergency situations and everyday life alike.
