The votes are in and Wales’ top farmer has been named.  Teisi Jenkins of Dyfed won TV channel S4C’s ‘Fferm Factor’ reality show and along with it a brand new Isuzu Rodeo 2.5 Denver.

The exciting series to find Wales’ best agricultural worker saw ten farmers go head-to-head in tasks that tested their practical skills as well as their knowledge of the industry.  Every week one of the competitors was eliminated, and in the end Teisi, 27, from Newcastle Emlyn, was the last man standing.  The prize pick-up, which was supplied by local dealer, Davis Isuzu, featured throughout the series.

Speaking at the glitzy award ceremony in Glynllifon Mansion, Caernarfon, Teisi explained that he’s not only delighted with winning the Fferm Ffactor title, but he’s also a big fan of his new Isuzu: “I’m extremely impressed with the Rodeo.  It’ll be very handy around the farm and when I have to take livestock to market,” he enthused.  “Fferm Ffactor is a very prestigious award here in Wales and it’s an honour for me to be an ambassador for the industry over the coming year.”

Isuzu Marketing Director, Kenyon Neads, commented: “Teisi is a worthy winner, and the Isuzu Rodeo will be the perfect companion on his farm.  The Rodeo is not only rugged enough to deal with the rough-and-tumble nature of farming life, but it’s also supremely practical thanks to bullet-proof reliability and 3,000kg towing capacity.  We’re sure he will be very happy with his new vehicle.”

Prices start at £12,149 CVOTR for the entry-level 136bhp 2.5 Rodeo Single Cab 4X2, and rise to £21,999 CVOTR for the top-of-the-range 163bhp 3.0 Denver Max LE Auto.  Insurance groupings start at 10A for base models and peak at a still-affordable 13A.
