MBNA boost online banking services

8th November 2010 Print

MBNA has launched a new and improved online banking service through its website mbna.co.uk. The new facility, renamed Online Card Services, has been developed following feedback from customers to include a new service which provides step-by-step guidance on how to get the most from online banking and clearer, more concise content.

Other changes to the facility include improvements to the navigation of the site and an enhanced help and support section, providing customers with online tutorials and a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help them better service their accounts.

Ian Craig, Customer Service and Channel Fulfilment executive for Bank of America Europe Card Services which operates as MBNA in the UK, said: "We are committed to making our products and service options simpler to use and the re-launch of our new online banking portal, Online Card Services, is key to that.

"Our customers' thoughts and ideas have inspired this change and, with their input, we will continue to find ways to bring ease and greater clarity to our services."

The improvements to Online Card Services represent the latest element in a series of ongoing changes to the MBNA brand.

Customers will still be able to manage their accounts in the usual way, including making payments, setting up Direct Debits, transferring balances, ordering and activating cards, checking balances, credit limits and recent transactions, validating and arranging PIN security and viewing statements

If customers have an MBNA card, and would like to start enjoying the benefits of managing their account online, they can visit Online Card Services.
