Part exchange to a new home for Christmas in Bodmin

22nd November 2010 Print

Moving up to a brand new home before Christmas may seem like a distant dream but it is a very real possibility, according to Barratt.

The developer is offering two special schemes to buyers seeking a move up to a spacious new home at Canyke Fields in Bodmin. And settling in before Christmas could soon become a reality for many.

“Christmas is fast approaching and many people have completely given up on the idea of moving to a new home in time to enjoy all that the season has to offer,” said Barratt sales manager, Mary Daymond.

“I can assure buyers that it is possible for them to make their move in a matter of weeks – especially if they take advantage of part exchange or our Movemaker service.”

Part exchange removes all the uncertainty associated with a move, particularly in today’s financial climate. Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer – so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden costs. And people can stay in their old property until their new home is ready.

“The logistics and effort involved in selling a home is enough to put many people off moving up the property ladder,” said Mary. “So we will certainly consider buying their current property – and we have been offering this part exchange option since pioneering the scheme more than 30 years ago.”

Barratt offers a fair market value for every home. And, with no estate agents’ fees to pay, there is no risk of the dreaded housebuying chain breaking.

Anyone looking to buy one of the outstanding homes on offer at Canyke Fields can also opt to make use of Barratt’s popular Movemaker service.

“With Movemaker, we will arrange to sell a buyer’s existing home for them, free of charge,” said Mary. “It means they can side-step the hassle and cost usually associated with selling a property.”

Currently available at Canyke Fields is a striking selection of three and four bedroom homes.

The three bedroom Maidstone is priced at £177,500, the three bedroom Norbury design is from £193,500 and they offered alongside the four bedroom Cranford at £255,000 and the Radleigh from £272,950.
