Stokesley Motors puts family values first

4th March 2009 Print
Daihatsu’s plans to increase dealer representation continues to move forward with the appointment of Stokesley Motors Limited, Middlesbrough.

The family-owned dealer first opened its doors more than 50 years ago and believes its strong family values have steered it through the good, and the bad times. Together with loyal experienced staff, the company has established excellent relationships with the existing franchise and will offer a full range of new and used Daihatsu products.

Dealer Principal, Brian Mook, said: “Despite the difficult economic climate, we hope to not only generate repeat business from our loyal band of customers who have tended to stay with us over the years – very useful in these challenging times – but we also hope to win new converts.

“We are also delighted to be appointed to a franchise that is synonymous with reliable, low-polluting and economical compact cars.”

Paul Hegarty, Operations Director, Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited, said: “This is a very welcome addition to our expanding network. The dealers are the key to the fortune of Daihatsu in the UK as they create opportunities in the marketplace regardless of where they are located.”

The Coleshill-based Japanese compact car specialist appointed 20 new dealers in 2008 and currently boasts 98 UK showrooms.

The five-year warranty, together with the £35 road tax and 70 mpg plus low emissions, means Daihatsu has a car to suit everyone in these challenging times.
