iCarhireinsurance.com cuts price of car club insurance

7th December 2010 Print

Car club users can already save hundreds of pounds thanks to the car hire excess insurance policies offered by icarhireinsurance.com, but they can now save even more.

To highlight the huge margins car club providers are making on the excess policies they offer consumers, iCarhireinsurance.com has reduced its prices even further. Consumers can now purchase Car Club Excess Insurance for only £39.99 a year from iCarhireinsurance.com, all parts of the car are covered and the excess is reduced to zero.

Streetcar charge £179 a year and damage to the windows and tyres is not covered. Streetcar customers can therefore save £139 if they buy from icarhireinsurance.com, more than 75%, and those aged between 21 and 25 can save even more.

ZipCar and CityCar both charge more than £39.99 for their annual cover, and neither reduce the excess to zero or cover damage to the windows and tyres.

Customers that also want to be protected when hiring a car in Europe or Worldwide, can now buy a combined Car Club Plus Europe policy for only £59.98, and Car Club Plus Worldwide for only £79.98. This is a saving of £20 on the previous combined policy.

Ernesto Suarez, CEO, iCarhireinsurance.com, said “Car Clubs are a fantastic idea but with no one to check the car in and out, your risk of damage during your booking isn’t limited to whilst you are driving. With excesses of around £1000, how do you prove that damage was done before you picked it up or after it was dropped off?

“iCarhireinsurance.com’ excess policies are 75% cheaper than the leading provider, cover damage to the whole of the car and reduce the excess to zero. With our policies you can be safe in the knowledge that you have saved money and are completely covered.”
