Ideal for the 2010 - 2011 skiing season and for many future trips to the slopes, the new Live Luggage Sports bag is a truly unique solution for every skier and snowboarder which enables clothing, boots and even skis and snowboards to be put onto a single luggage system and moved along easily with only one hand! This smart and stylish piece of luggage was designed with skiers and snowboarders in mind - the multi-bag system includes a spacious main case, a weekend bag and a rucksack which all zip together and apart, so they can be used separately - very useful when in resort and for shorter trips throughout the year. When combined, the three separate bags clip onto a special handle and chassis which is so strong that even skis and snowboards can be attached using simple ski clips. It makes talking all this awkward and bulky gear to the airport or onto the snow train really easy - no more struggling along the pavement and up slopes with both hands completely full.
The patented Live Luggage trolley system has an ergonomically designed "anti-gravity" wishbone handle that pivots from the base of the chassis, pulling out from the back of the case when in use and closing neatly when stationary. Even fully packed, 85% of the weight is placed directly over large flat wheels, so pulling luggage along feels as easy as gliding downhill. Journeys from home to train station or across huge airport car parks take very little effort and walking to resort accommodation is much easier on the arms, back and shoulders. There are two versions - the AG model (anti-gravity handle) and the PA version with anti-gravity handle and power-assisted wheels which run off a re-chargeable built-in battery - sensors in the handle automatically activate pan-cake motors in the wheels when slopes or kerbs are detected, taking all the strain out of walking uphill. The handle is height adjustable and glides back against the back of the case when stationery.
The detachable weekend bag can be unzipped from the main case and is the perfect aircraft carry-on bag or keeps more valuable items such as cameras with you on the coach or train. Once in resort, the Sports Bag's handy detachable zip on/off rucksack is an easy and practical solution for taking everyday items such as goggles, sunscreen and energy snacks onto the slopes. It even has an exterior mesh pocket for damp items and an internal pocket for an MP3 player with a port for the earphones. The rucksack and the weekend bag can be used all year round for everyday use such as trips to the gym and days out - the tough PU material simply wipes clean.
