European festivals for spring

18th January 2011 Print

Say goodbye to winter and hello to the beginning of spring this year with a visit to a European carnival and enjoy magical festivities, spectacular fireworks, unique music and dancing.

The months of February and March will see major festivals being organised across Europe, including the Venice and Nice Carnivals, Dublin's St Patrick's Festival and Fallas de Valencia.

For late bookers, there are still plenty of private holiday homes available to rent on HomeAway Holiday-Rentals during the events in Venice, Nice, Dublin and Valencia.

Step back in time to discover the magic of Venice during the carnival in February and enjoy the magnificent Venetian celebrations from your own Grand Canal apartment. Take in the sun on the French Riviera from a stunning beach house and join the fun at the Nice Carnival, one of the largest in the world. Be Irish for three days at St Patrick's Festival and mingle with the locals in Dublin 4, a prime affluent residential area. Or celebrate the arrival of spring with spectacular fires and pyrotechnics at the Fallas de Valencia, and watch the parades passing right by your window.

Get set for a fun start to the flower season and book one of the properties below or browse for more.

Prices quoted are per property per week for the festivals and correct at the time of going to press.
