Hawick rider and winner of the 2010 Macau Grand Prix, Stuart Easton, will be a star guest at the annual Scottish Motorcycle Show being held at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston near Edinburgh this Saturday and Sunday.

Traditionally marking the start of the biking season in Scotland, the show allows riders from Scotland and the north of England to experience a stunning line up of motorcycles and personalities. Key for Kawasaki fans will be the opportunity to sit on and talk about many of the stunning additions to the road motorcycle range for 2011 along with representation from other top-selling models in the Japanese manufacturer's popular range.

With blistering performance and a raft of high technology - including advanced traction control, three way power mode settings and optional ABS braking - the new Ninja ZX-10R Supersport machine will certainly draw the crowds. And, as an added bonus, Kawasaki fans will have the chance to meet and talk to Kawasaki British Superbike rider, Stuart Easton, at the show on its opening day, Saturday.

With new motorcycles in many emerging style categories, the Kawasaki stand looks to be a popular show destination as the Sales Manager for the Scottish region, Craig Watson, explains. "For the committed Supersport fans the Ninja will be the highlight, but we have so much more to offer than that. The new Z1000SX has really captured the imagination as a Sport Tourer for those that want racy styling but a more relaxed riding position. Likewise, the Z750R is a real urban hero and will be of great interest to those who favour un-faired or so called "streetfighter" bikes. Another highlight is bound to be the new retro styled W800 that has a real authentic 1960's look and feel
mixed with modern technology".

The Carole Nash MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show takes place on 12/13 March at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston from 09.00 to 17.00 each day. For more information visit scottishmotorcycleshow.com.
