Show home now on sale in Braehead

The ‘Forth’ style show home from Redrow at Riverside Point is now on sale.

One lucky buyer in Braehead, near Glasgow, will be able to show off in a stylish new home that’s been dressed to impress by a team of professional interior designers.

Redrow has just released its four-bedroom ‘Forth’ show home at Riverside Point onto the market. It’s been professionally decorated throughout and includes carpets, curtains, light fittings and landscaped gardens, all for just £219,000.

There’s even the chance to purchase the furniture, which means you won’t have to worry about matching your belongings with the decor or arranging removals.

Mary McHutchison, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland), commented: “Show homes not only showcase the quality of our properties and the layout of the designs, but also provide interior design inspiration for homeowners. Many people try to replicate the looks created by our stylists but whoever buys the ‘Forth’ at Riverside Point will get the show home look without the effort.”

Set out over three floors, the ‘Forth’ offers a degree of flexibility to your living arrangements. The layout of the property is slightly unusual in that the fourth bedroom is on the ground floor, along with a utility room and cloakroom with shower. This makes it the ideal choice for a teenager or elderly relative, as a guest room or even a study, as it’s relatively self-contained and away from the hustle and bustle of family life.

The open plan kitchen and dining room plus separate lounge are on the first floor, with the remaining bedrooms, including master with en-suite, plus the family bathroom are on the top floor.

In addition to the ‘Forth’ show home there’s a choice of four-bedroom homes available at Riverside Point, along with two-bedroom homes plus a selection of apartments with two and three bedrooms.

All of the homes boast Redrow’s high specification including kitchens fitted with integrated top brand name appliances, plus floor to ceiling units that offer plenty of storage. Bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings with an exclusive tile range.

Redrow has calculated that it could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same high standard as one of its new homes, which means that buying a brand new home could save time and money.

“Buying a second hand property and renovating it yourself may sound appealing, but there’s lots of hard work and expense involved with little, if any, return for the time and money you invest. With a brand new Redrow home you won’t have to worry about inheriting someone else’s decor or DIY disasters, but will enjoy the peace of mind of a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty,” Mary explained.

“Well insulated, with double glazing and central heating as standard, our new homes are potentially cheaper to run than their older, second hand counterparts.”

Located close to the M8, Riverside Point enjoys excellent commuter links around the central belt and is just a short journey from Glasgow city centre.

The ‘Forth’ show home at Riverside Point is open to view daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
