New homes with added value in Malton

HomeBuy Direct is available on selected Redrow homes at Priorpot Mews

House hunters in Norton, near Malton, should act fast if they want to take advantage of a range of incentives designed to make moving more affordable.

Following sales success, Redrow is extending its ‘More for Less’ promotion on selected properties at Priorpot Mews. It means that for a limited period only, customers can purchase a brand new home complete with carpets, curtains, light fittings and turfed gardens.

Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “We offer a specification that’s unrivalled among most of our house building peers, let alone the second hand sector. Coupled with incentives such as part-exchange or HomeBuy Direct, the added extras we’re offering have helped customers buy the home of their dreams at a price they can afford. We’ve had enquiries from other potential customers hoping to benefit from the deals and have decided to give house hunters a final chance to buy a home that offers ‘More for Less’.”

Current availability at Priorpot Mews includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes. They all boast fashionable kitchens with tall units, extra wide drawers and top brand name appliances, plus bathrooms and en-suites with quality fixtures and fittings.

Among the homes available is the four-bedroom ‘Neale’. On the market at £159,999, it’s ideal for those who are ready to move up the property ladder to a bigger, better brand new home.

“If you’ve got a property to sell you may be able to take advantage of part-exchange and use your old home as part payment for a brand new Redrow home at Priorpot Mews. Customers will be offered a fair price for their old home within seven days, they won’t have to worry about being caught up in a complicated chain and there are no estate agent’s fees to pay,” Patsy said.

Alternatively, eligible customers with a household income of less than £60,000 could put off paying almost a third of the price of selected properties at Priorpot Mews with the help of an equity loan through HomeBuy Direct. The Government-backed scheme is open to first time buyers, those starting over after a change of circumstances and growing families in need of extra space.

For example, a three-bedroom ‘Malham’, on the market at £152,999, could be snapped up for an initial outlay of just £107,099.

Customers can pay the outstanding balance when they have more funds available or when they come to resell and the loan is interest free for the first five years.
