31st March 2011 Print

Alila Manggis has introduced a new ‘Happy Body and Soul’ retreat for 2011, designed to take guests on a journey to find greater inspiration for a healthier and happier life.

Run by Leela Isani and Frank Weckesser, two experienced human potential trainers and wellness coaches from SELF the Empowerment company, the retreat combines a stay at the serene resort on the peaceful east coast of Bali with the chance to learn about healthy nutrition, finding balance in life and the healing power of Bali.

The seven-night/five-day programme comprises of a personal interview and daily group sessions with Leela and Frank to help participants find their own personal route to happiness amid life’s ups and downs focusing on sustainable self-healing techniques.

Guests will also enjoy the benefits of local wellness knowledge, with treatments at Spa Alila – renowned for its focus on traditional therapies and natural organic ingredients – combined with visits to local experts including a traditional Balinese healer and a holy man who will share his wisdom of how the Balinese achieve life balance.

Daily Yoga in the tranquil sea-side surrounds of the resort is available to complement the programme. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about nutrition and food for the soul with interactive lessons in the resort’s own organic garden set at the base of the majestic Mount Agung.

One of the island’s best-kept secrets, Alila Manggis is a secluded stylish seaside resort set amidst a coconut grove on the less explored east coast. All rooms and suites face the ocean offering clear views across the straits to Nusa Penida. With an emphasis on discovering the real Bali, the resort offers guests the chance to truly get under the skin of the island with a wealth of authentic wellness, culinary, cultural and active experiences available.

The seven-night/five-day retreat package costs from USD3250/£2020 for single and USD5400/£3357 (£1678.50pp) for double occupancy in a Superior room at Alila Manggis.

The price includes daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner; return airport transfers; all retreat costs; four Alila experiences (as outlined above) and all taxes and service charges.
