TV chef and presenter Mike Robinson has become a Brand ambassador for Isuzu after several years as an owner of the highly regarded pick-ups.

Mike, who presents the popular ITV series CountryWise and CountryWise Kitchen, has been an owner of an Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max for the last six years, a period in which Mike says the Isuzu never let him down despite 96,000 miles of miles of hard country use.

With a lifelong passion of hunting and cooking game and wild food, Mike first presented a number of cookery shows originally on UKTV. He became a regular presenter on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, before fronting the popular CountryWise, an ITV show that covers topical country issues and boasts up to 4 million viewers. The new series begins this week, Tuesday April 5 on ITV1 at 8.00pm.

As well as a string of books and DVD’s to his name on the same subject, Mike also owns the Harwood Arms in Fulham, which is the only London pub with a Michelin star, and the Pot Kiln pub and restaurant in Berkshire.

Kenyon Neads, Marketing Director for Isuzu said of the agreement: “Mike is a great fit for Isuzu and his TV profile is increasing. As an experienced Isuzu owner he knows only too well about the rugged reliability of our vehicles and he is therefore a strong advocate of the Brand. Given his interests and lifestyle, the partnership with us is particularly appropriate.”

Mike recently took delivery of an Isuzu Rodeo 3.0L Denver Max from Isuzu UK which he will use for all personal and professional activities.
