Martin Sheen walks 'The Way'

Once the assassin in ‘Apocalypse Now’ and president in ‘The West Wing’, legendary actor, Martin Sheen, now stars in ‘The Way’ – a drama set on the Camino de Santiago – pilgrimage of Christian’s venerating the remains of St James at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.

‘The Way’ is due to be launched on UK cinema screens on 13 May 2011.

Coincidentally, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays, have introduced a guided walking tour   incorporating many of the highlights from the film, including, the statue of St James, a walk from Sarria to Portomarin (Galicia) in villages between Palas de Rei and Arzua with spectacular views from Monte Gozo.
