Cobra helps Volkswagen put extra bite into new Amarok

Security, tracking and vehicle safety specialist Cobra UK is providing Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles with a range of standard fit and optional accessories for its new Amarok pick-up.

Every Amarok comes with the Thatcham approved Cobra 4405 alarm as standard which aims to keep the vehicle safe from unwanted attention, at the same time keeping insurance premiums in check.

Cobra designed rear parking sensors are also standard fitment on Amarok Highline and are available as an accessory for other trim levels to help drivers avoid those small parking bumps often experienced in a working vehicle. Cobra has developed bespoke parking sensors especially for the Amarok due to the unusual shape of its rear bumper.

“We have worked with Volkswagen in the UK for over 17 years and we are very pleased to have been asked to help add some finishing touches to an already impressive vehicle,” explained Cobra UK’s Managing Director Andrew Smith.

“All our accessories sold by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are covered by a two year warranty, which increases to three years if you have your accessories fitted with your new vehicle purchase,” he added.
