Award-winning, accommodation provider, SACO will launch a flagship aparthotel of 72 serviced apartments in Bristol this spring, expanding their presence in the city by 150 per cent.

The new contemporary apartments, located in the heart of the city will open in June, offering an alternative to hotel accommodation to meet demand from business and leisure travelers.

Next to the city’s iconic fountains and overlooking the historic harbourside SACO Broad Quay will include a selection of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments and will be the company’s largest collection of apartments in the UK.

Each apartment is furnished with designer furniture, fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, bedrooms with king size beds and contemporary bathrooms, offering more space, flexibility and freedom than a hotel.

Some apartments benefit from a balcony or large terrace areas with views over the harbourside with its great choice of restaurants, bars, and visitor attractions.

Guests will also benefit from complimentary broadband, on site car parking and a reception.

The aparthotel also features two stunning three-bedroom penthouses complete with private roof terraces, offering views over the harbourside and beautiful architecture that makes up this city of culture.

Lesley Freed, CEO, SACO said: “Opening such a significant location in Bristol this year will be a milestone for the company. It’s incredible to think it’s only been 14 years since we launched our first apartments in the city and I’m delighted that we’re now back and expanding on our own doorstep.

“Bristol is a bustling and creative city and with its mix of internationally-acclaimed cultural institutions, world-class events and festivals and great shopping destinations it is successful as both a business and leisure destination.

“This is an exciting year to be visiting the city with the 125th anniversary of Bristol Zoo and the opening of the new museum, M-Shed and the new apartments provide the perfect base to explore the city from, offering more space and flexibility than a hotel.”

Stays from one night to a year are available. Rates start from £70.00 per night for a studio apartment.

SACO has expanded the number of apartments they own and manage by 34 per cent in the last 12 months, now offering 500 apartments across 28 locations in the UK and providing access to 12,000 apartments worldwide.

The company pioneered the concept of serviced apartments, positioning itself as one of the first companies in the UK to address the requirement outside of London after it first established itself in 1997 with a boutique development in Bristol.
