Britain’s leading guided walks operator, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays, is offering a 17 day tour of Kenya’s stunning Rift Valley – renowned for its dramatic landscapes, tribal culture and wildlife.

The journey begins in Nairobi, with walks in Kenya’s first national park and a chance to visit the former home of Karen Blixen of ‘Out of Africa’ fame.  One then descends into the Rift Valley to remote Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate before enjoying Nakuru – often frequented by over a million flamingos.

Next on ‘the agenda’ is the mountainous and heavily forested Aberdare National Park with views of Mount Kenya – the second highest mountain in Africa.

There is a choice of walks offering either leisurely or more challenging options.

The final stage of the adventure is a night in Embu, a visit to Watamu Bay with its superb National Marine Park and the opportunity to chill out on the beach at Malindi.

Price from £3,429 per person includes return flights, transfers, full-board accommodation and the services of a dedicated tour leader.
