Worldhotels expands in Spain and Morocco

Worldhotels, one of the leading groups of independent hotels worldwide, has continued its ambitious expansion plans by signing an agreement with Spain’s Husa Hotels for 12 additional properties to become Worldhotels affiliates.

Founded in 1930 and based in Barcelona, family-run Husa Hotels has grown into one of Spain’s largest chains, with more than 120 properties throughout the country.  Six Husa properties are already Worldhotels affiliates, and the 12 new affiliate hotels bring a total of 1,914 extra rooms to the Worldhotels portfolio. Of the 12 new properties, eight are located in Spain, two in Morocco, one in Andorra and one in Germany opening in 2012.
