Prospective purchasers looking to pick up the keys to a stylish new apartment this summer are being urged to visit Miller Homes’ Liberty Gardens development in Wester Inch, where the introduction of the housebuilder’s Family Deposit incentive is set to help even more first time buyers onto the property ladder.

Situated on Leyland Road at Wester Inch, Bathgate, Liberty Gardens is based in a prime location for commuting into Livingston, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. Bathgate train station is within walking distance, with links to Edinburgh Waverly, while Edinburgh International Airport is 13 miles away.

Comprising a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes, Liberty Gardens has a property to suit every budget. A collection of two-bedroom apartments have been catching the eye of first-time buyers, with prices starting from just £109,995 or from just £82,500 with Miller Homes’ very own shared equity scheme MiWay.

Alternatively, Miller Homes has released a new incentive that will not only help first time buyers but will also reward their generous family members with an instant windfall. Family Deposit* enables family members to fund deposits of up to 20 per cent of the property purchase price. Unlike other schemes in the marketplace, the family member earns the equivalent of five years’ interest at five per cent on their investment, which is paid in a lump sum to them when the purchaser legally completes the sale.

Neil Gaffney, Sales Director for Miller Homes in the West of Scotland, said: “Miller Homes is all too aware of the challenges faced by today’s buyers, but we want to reassure would-be purchasers that getting on or moving up the property ladder is possible in the current climate.

“We know from speaking to buyers and conducting our own research that many young people can afford to pay a mortgage but simply cannot gather the deposit required to buy the home of their dreams. Family Deposit not only enables generous relatives the chance to earn some of their investment back, but it also helps new buyers onto the property ladder – something that we feel extremely passionate about.

“Family Deposit is just one of a raft of incentives available on selected plots at Liberty Gardens, with each assistance scheme designed to help to make buying a new home more affordable and as hassle-free as possible. I would urge Bathgate homebuyers to visit Liberty Gardens to find out how they could benefit from these tried-and-tested incentives coupled with the support of Miller Homes’ experienced sales team.”

Eligible buyers at Liberty Gardens can take advantage of Miller Homes’ very own shared equity scheme MiWay*, which is available on selected plots. Through MiWay, Miller Homes provides a loan for up to 25 per cent of the purchase price of the property, leaving the buyer to arrange their own finance for the more affordable remaining amount. One of the major benefits of MiWay is that buyers have 100 per cent ownership of their property.

Each apartment at Liberty Gardens feature a bright and airy open-plan lounge/dining area. The adjoining kitchen is both stylish and practical and gives ample space for storage and cooking. The master bedroom is complemented by its own en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom benefits from having impressive dual aspect windows.
