A Lovell home could be yours for less in Carlisle

Homebuyers in Carlisle are being offered the unmissiable opportunity to purchase a new Lovell home for a lower upfront price.

A wide choice of homes is available at the housebuilder’s two neighbouring developments – Park View and The Elms - including traditional three and four-bedroom designs.

Through a shared equity scheme, buyers could initially defer 15% of the purchase price for up to 10 years. For example, this means three-bedroom family home could be snapped up for £102,846 (full price £120,995). Homebuyers still own 100% of their home from day one but the scheme means they only pay 85% of the asking price up front.

There’s no interest or rent to pay on the deferred amount, and buyers can pay it back when they have more funds available or come to resell.

Elaine Taylor, regional sales manager for Lovell, said: “This is a fantastic incentive for first time buyers who may be finding it difficult to save for the large deposits required by many mortgage providers. It’s available on many of our three and four-bedroom homes at Park View and The Elms.

“Our shared equity scheme gives homebuyers a viable alternative to renting and means they have an asset to show for their money.”

The Carlisle homes are located in the heart of an established residential area, surrounded by parkland and close to the historic city centre. Both developments are perfect for families to call home, with an enclosed park and children’s play area.

The properties are bright, spacious and feature a host of family friendly features. For example, the three-bedroom semi-detached Churchley has its own driveway, a spacious open-plan living and dining room with French doors on to the rear garden, separate kitchen and downstairs cloaks. Upstairs are three good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom and storage space on both floors.

All properties will come complete with fully fitted kitchens and contemporary bathroom suites. Attention to detail is paramount and purchasers could even personalise their new home with Lovell’s ‘Inspirations’ range of optional extras.

“Buying a newly built home means you enjoy peace of mind, you're part of a new community and your home is designed to suit the modern lifestyle,” Elaine added.

“Our homes are constructed to exacting standards with inbuilt energy efficiency measures, which should help lower the cost of your fuel bills.”

Ideally located off the A595 Wigton Road and close to the M6 junction 43 and 44, Park View and The Elms benefit from a host of nearby amenities which meet the needs of modern families including shops, restaurants and plenty of schools.

For those who enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, Heysham Park is close by as is the city’s Bitts Park.

The area benefits from a wide choice of primary and secondary schools, and there are two children’s activity centres in the locality, as well as leisure and community facilities to keep the whole family entertained.

For those who do not require shared equity, Lovell has a range of incentives it can tailor to suit different purchasers to help them move.
