Solihull school's celebratory garden

Pupils from Blossomfield Primary School will help Touchwood mark its 10th anniversary this week with a special, ‘Touch Wood’ garden.

The Solihull school will be at Touchwood on Tuesday 19 July to showcase their horticultural skills creating a celebratory garden that the local community can enjoy for years to come. Not only will the pupils be getting their hands dirty on the day planting the garden, but they have also been instrumental in the garden’s design.

The ‘Touch Wood’ garden is being created especially to mark the shopping centre’s 10th anniversary and the school was invited to submit design ideas, which they felt reflected the occasion.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “Touchwood’s 10th birthday is an exciting occasion and it is a pleasure to be able to share this with Blossomfield Primary. We wanted to involve the school in the design of the garden as much as possible so we asked them to tell us how they would like the garden to look. The children have come up with some really great ideas, so we have no doubt that the local community will love it as much as we do.”

Touchwood houses some of the best UK and international brands, designer retailers and independent boutique style stores. For further information visit: touchwoodsolihull.co.uk
