Family offer: August walking holiday on Dartmoor

Kids Go Free (under 11s), children aged 11-17 save 50% and adults enjoy a £100 saving - is the amazing deal this August on a seven-night guided walking holiday on Dartmoor courtesy of HF Holidays, the UK’s largest walking and leisure activity holiday organisation.

Designed especially for families with kids of any age, this holiday features a choice of three carefully chosen child-friendly guided walks during the day and family-orientated entertainment in the evenings.

Starting 06 August, the revised costs are £549 per adult, with children (11 to 17 years and sharing with an adult) paying £325 each, whilst under 11s are free of charge.   These prices include full-board, the programme of organised walks and social activities, transport to and from the walks and the services of HF Holidays’ leaders.

Highlights of the week include walking amid the wilderness of Dartmoor, Bowerman’s Nose and the rocky outcrop of Hound Tor, Castle Drogo and the River Teign gorge, and following the route of the granite tramway around Haytor Rocks. 

Accommodation is at the company’s Moorlands Country House – set within eight acres of grounds just below Haytor Rocks – with facilities including table tennis, croquet lawn and putting green as well as excellent boot and drying rooms.
