Camping and caravanning holiday deals in Italy

21st July 2011 Print

There’s still time to bag a bargain-priced peak season break in Italy…that’s the message to families from camping and mobile home operator, Venue Holidays.

The company is offering savings of up to 35% at a choice of locations – including Umbria, Lake Garda and the Venetian Riviera – for holidays starting before 13 August.

Deals include seven nights in a two-bedroom mobile home with decking from 5 August at Camping Il Collaciou in Umbria now priced at £639, a reduction of £344.  This family-run campsite – with traditional restaurant and two pools -  is set in the heart of the Monti Sibillini National Park where visitors can enjoy outdoor pursuits such as walking, donkey trekking and white water rafting.

Beach babes should head for Camping Ca’Savio – a relaxed and friendly seaside location on the Venetian Riviera – where 12 nights from 8 August in an Espace tent now costs £754, saving £133.  There are loads of on-site facilities such as three pools, cycle hire and mini golf and Venice is just a 40-minute ferry ride away.

Finally at picturesque Bardolino at Lake Garda, a seven-night break from 8 August in a three-bedroom air-conditioned mobile home is priced at £935, a reduction of £234.  Facilities at the campsite, which is situated on the eastern shores of the lake, include pool, tennis, mini-golf and archery, along with watersports such as canoeing and pedalo hire.

The above prices are the total for two adults and up to four children and include return midweek Dover/Calais saver ferry crossing for car and passengers.  For those who wish to make their own travel arrangements, a discount of £50 per party applies.
