It’s not too late to book a fun-filled, great value holiday for the family this summer, at Eurocamp’s action-packed Duinrell parc in Wassenaar, Holland.

Situated near the famous bulb fields, the parc has fantastic amenities on site, with a huge array of pools, wave machines and 1,000 metres of the most spectacular covered water slides in the world – offering white knuckle thrills for older children and gentle pursuits for little ones.

If you’re thinking of squeezing in a last minute holiday with the family, Duinrell is a perfect base for visiting nearby Amsterdam and the fantastic ‘Uitmarkt’ event (26 – 28 August). The opening event of Amsterdam’s cultural season and also its largest, Uitmarkt is a must-see, featuring a range of performances, concerts, exhibitions, drama, workshops and book markets across the city – all with free entrance.

Back on parc, Duinrell has a host of facilities for the whole family to enjoy, including a neighbouring theme park, an exciting ‘Tiki’ tropical waterpark, games rooms, bars, themed restaurants and take-aways.

The Duinrell amusement park has a number of exciting attractions with white knuckle excitement from the ‘breakneck toboggan-run’ or breathtaking adventures on the ‘Mad Mill’ and for the little ones there’s the ‘Fairy Tale Wonderland’ and ‘Locomotion train’ to name a few.

The terrific Tiki Park will also provide endless hours of fun - the largest covered waterslide park in Europe, with ten thrilling slides. Adults and older children can enjoy the energetic and dynamic new ‘Tyfoon’ or relax on the Lazy River, while the very little ones can splash around in the kid's pool with a selection of mini slides.

Nearby capital Amsterdam, approximately 30 miles away, is within easy day-tripping distance with plenty to see and do. Children are bound to enjoy tours along the canal, or educational visits to the variety of art galleries or museums, such as the famous Anne Frank Museum. For something a little different, visit nearby Leiden, a beautiful and historic city with many 17th-century houses. Its city centre is criss-crossed with boat-lined canals, which are bordered by red brick roads great for walking or cycling.

A seven night stay at Eurocamp’s Duinrell parc, in Wassenaar, Holland, arriving on 26 August 2011, staying in a 2 bed 2 bath ‘Sunlight’ mobile home with decking, (sleeps up to 7, maximum 6 adults) will cost just £961.40 (saving £48.60 with Eurocamp’s ‘A* School Holidays’ offer) for the whole family, accommodation only.
