Limited availability means homebuyers must hurry if they want to purchase a brand new home in the Norton area of the popular North Yorkshire market town of Malton.

Just 12 properties are yet to be sold at Redrow’s popular Priorpot Mews venture.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “The combination of the location and the quality of our homes has helped make Priorpot Mews such a success. Shops and leisure facilities both locally in Norton and a short distance away in Malton are within walking distance; and despite the semi-rural setting of the development and easy access to the North Yorkshire moors, the homes are within commuting distance of York and the motorway network.

“Easy to manage, efficient to run and boasting a top notch specification, it’s no surprise that we’re fast approaching the end of this popular venture.”

The final properties offer a choice of three and four-bedroom designs, with prices from £152,999.

They all boast a high specification as standard, including well equipped kitchens fitted with integrated top brand name appliances, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that are both practical and stylish; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings with an exclusive tile range.

Some of the properties are ready and waiting to be called ‘home’. With none of the repairs or renovations that may be required in an older, second hand property, and no upward chain to hold buyers back from moving, they’re ideal for those who want a quick move.

And to help make moving even easier, the award-winning housebuilder is offering a range of incentives, including part-exchange.

“If you have an existing property to sell you may worry that having to find a buyer will hold you back from moving to brand new home at Priorpot Mews, but that doesn’t have to be the case. With part-exchange moving up the property ladder is quick and simple. We buy your current property so you can move up to one of our beautiful brand new homes,” Patsy explained.

“Or if you’re starting out in your first home or a growing family in need of extra space and have a household income of less than £60,000, you may be able to take advantage of HomeBuy Direct. Designed to help those who would otherwise be priced out of the property market, the Government-backed scheme offers buyers the chance to take out an equity loan for up to 30% of the price of a brand new home.”

With the help of HomeBuy Direct a three-bedroom ‘Malham, usually costing £152,999 can be snapped up for an initial outlay of £107,099 – that’s more than £40,000 below the asking price.

“Whether you’re getting a first foot on the property ladder or making your next move up it, our friendly experienced sales team will guide you through the home buying process to make it as straight forward as possible,” Patsy added.
