If you’re looking to move to a stylish new home in East Liverpool but have a house to sell, you could get help from Lovell over the weekend of September 10 and 11.

The award-winning housebuilder is offering homebuyer the options to part exchange their existing property or take advantage of its ‘Helping Hands’ scheme at two of its Liverpool developments; The Oaks, situated between the communities of Gateacre and Childwall, and Church Fields, in Garston under the Bridge.

Over the weekend, local estate agents plus Lovell’s friendly sales consultants will be on hand at the developments to explain the schemes.

Essentially part exchange means Lovell will act as a cash buyer for your existing property, giving you the opportunity to move straight away.

Alternatively Lovell could take the hassle out of selling your existing property through the Helping Hands scheme, which means they’ll look after everything for you from valuations and marketing to paying the estate agents fees. Lovell will arrange for an independent valuation of your existing property and after agreeing a market price with you, their friendly sales advisors will guide you through the process and keep in touch with the estate agent on your behalf.

One couple who have taken advantage of the Helping Hands scheme and enjoyed a stress-free move were John and Mavis Burns, both 69. The retired couple are moving to a new bungalow in Liverpool after Lovell helped them to sell their previous three-bedroom semi-detached home through Helping Hands.

John said: “It’s a great scheme for people who have a property to sell. Everything is done for you and Lovell were very helpful throughout. They arranged for two agents to value our home and we chose which agent we wanted to go with. They also paid our estate agents’ fees at the end. It’s been much easier than doing everything ourselves and I would recommend the scheme to anyone.

“We can’t wait to move into our new home. We were looking for a bungalow in the area for a while and when we found the Lovell development we just fell in love.”

Elaine Taylor, regional sales manager for Lovell, said: “Part exchange and Helping Hands are great options for anyone who wants to move home but is put off by the potential hassle and cost of selling their current house. Part exchange can help you trade up to a more expensive home, whereas Helping Hands can help people looking to move up, sideways or even downsize.”

In a prime location off Hartopp Road, The Oaks has just one final two-bedroom bungalow remaining, priced at £129,995, ideal for families or first time buyers who want an affordable property in an area with great amenities. Visitors over the weekend can take a look around the last remaining home. The Oaks is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood within easy reach of Belle Vale Shopping Centre.

Help is also available at Church Fields, a fantastic community of stylish homes, just a stone’s throw from Liverpool South Parkway Station and within easy reach of Liverpool Airport. Three-bedroom homes there could be yours from as little as £119,995.

All homes come complete with fully fitted kitchens, contemporary bathroom suites and inbuilt energy efficiency measures. Attention to detail is paramount and purchasers could even personalise their new home with Lovell’s ‘Inspirations’ range of optional extras subject to build stage.

To find out more about Part Exchange or Helping Hands visit The Oaks to take a look at the final home, or Church Fields, next weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11, between 10am and 5pm. For more information on Lovell’s developments in Liverpool and the North West visit lovell.co.uk.
