People looking for a brand new home near Malton could find that moving is easier than they expected thanks to Redrow.

The award-winning housebuilder is offering customer the chance to take advantage of a new low reservation fee to purchase a property at Priorpot Mews in Norton. Coupled with incentives such as HomeBuy Direct and part-exchange it could mean that buyers can secure their dream home sooner than they anticipated.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “Because we understand that every penny counts when moving home we’re offering to help customers by reducing the reservation fee at Priorpot Mews from £500 to £99. There’s also the chance for eligible purchasers to save almost a third off the initial price with HomeBuy Direct, while those who are ready to move up the property ladder could use their old home as part-payment for a brand new one.”

Priorpot Mews features a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £152,999. A four-bedroom ‘Neale’ style property, set out over three floors, is almost ready to move into for £164,999.

“We’re including carpets, curtains, light fittings and landscaping in the ‘Neale’ and, with part-exchange available, customers could look forward to a quick and simple move up the property ladder. Subject to terms and conditions, we’ll buy the customer’s old home so that they can buy one of ours. There are no agent’s fees to pay, plus no need to wait for the previous owner to move out so that you can move in,” Patsy explained.

Alternatively first time buyers can use HomeBuy Direct to boost their buying power with an equity loan for up to 30% of the price of a brand new home. They’ll also need a much smaller deposit than usual.

It means a three-bedroom home, available on the open market at £152,999 could be snapped up for an initial outlay of as little as £107,099. The balance comes in the shape of an equity loan jointly funded by Redrow and the government, which is interest free for the first five years.

Designed to help those who would otherwise be priced out of the property ladder, customers must have an annual household income of less than £60,000 to be eligible.

All of Redrow’s homes boast a high specification as standard. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, plus floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer spacious, stylish storage solutions; while bathrooms and en-suites boast sleek suites, quality fixtures and fittings and an exclusive tile range.

Well insulated with double glazing and central heating included, they’re easy to manage and efficient to run.
