Aspiring buyers in Bexley invited to affordable housing show
On Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October, Orbit Homes will be attending the Bexley Affordable Housing Information Show at the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath.
The event, organised by the London Borough of Bexley, aims to provide information and advice about affordable home ownership options and new housing developments available throughout the borough.
In addition to Orbit Homes, local housing providers Gallions Housing Association and First Steps will be on hand to speak to aspiring buyers about the range of home ownership options available. These include First Steps Shared Ownership, a part buy/part rent scheme, and the First Steps Rent to Buy and Intermediate Rent schemes which enable people to rent their home at a discounted rate while saving up for a deposit to purchase at a later date.
“We understand how difficult it is for first time buyers to take that important first step onto the property ladder and we are pleased to be joining forces with Bexley to promote affordable home ownership options” said Diane Webster, Sales and Marketing Manager at Orbit Homes.
Cllr Linda Bailey, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said; “There are an exciting number of high quality, affordable developments under construction in Bexley. This show is a great way for local people to talk directly to the experts about new homes in the borough.”
The show will be located between the River Island and Barratts stores, from 9am to 5.30pm each day.
Orbit Homes have recently launched two new developments in the area with homes available under the First Steps Shared Ownership scheme. Espirit @ Perry Street in Crayford features a selection of one and two bedroom apartments with prices starting at just £50,050 for a 35% share of a one-bedroom apartment.
The Station, off William Foster Lane, Welling is a development of two bed apartments with prices starting at just £72,800 for a 40% share.
