The festive season is almost upon us and families who act now could be celebrating in a brand new home.

Redrow is building new homes at Priopot in the Norton area of Malton, where some of the properties will be ready to move into in time for a good old-fashioned family Christmas.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “People who are considering moving home may think they’ve left it too late to be able to move before the festive season, but that’s not necessarily the case. We have properties that will soon be ready to be called ‘home’; and to help customers settle in we’re offering a package that includes carpets, curtains and light fittings.

“Plus, with part-exchange considered, those with a home of their own to sell could use it to part-fund a move up the property ladder.”

Four-bedroom designs, on the market from £159,999, will be ready in time to be the perfect Christmas treat.

“Set out over three floors, the four-bedroom Neale, with its combined kitchen and dining room, is the ideal setting for a festive family feast,” Patsy added. “Afterwards families can retire to the family room of the first floor lounge to unwrap their presents, play parlour games or watch their favourite Christmas specials on TV.”

Kitchens in all new Redrow homes are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer a stylish storage solution. With kitchens like these, cooking Christmas dinner in one of Redrow’s new homes will be a pleasure.

The properties also boast sleek modern bathrooms and en-suites with quality fixtures and fittings and an exclusive tile range.

“All of our homes are well insulated, with double glazing and central heating included as standard. They’re around 40% more energy efficient than homes built just 10 years ago, which means householders won’t have to worry about cranking up the heating to keep warm this winter and could find they save money on their fuel bills,” Patsy said.

It’s not just in the design of the homes that Redrow aims to make things easy for its customers.

Those who are ready to move up the property ladder and are yet to sell their current home may be able to take advantage of part-exchange; while those with annual household earnings of less than £60,000 may be able take out an equity loan for 30% of the price of brand new home with HomeBuy Direct.
