Discerning homebuyers can enjoy a flavour of life at Wrea Green with the opening of one of the large and luxurious new Redrow homes in the village.

Until now, potential purchasers have had to rely on floor plans and visit show homes in Chorley to get a feel for the designs. But Redrow has thrown open the doors to a finished five-bedroom detached home at Wrea Green.

It means those hoping to move to the sought-after Lancashire village will be able look around and picture themselves living there.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explained: “We have already sold six of the 12 homes at Wrea Green and have received enquiries from lots of people who are interested in these properties, particularly now that they can see the homes taking shape.

“Visitors have been impressed by what they have seen from the outside, but the size and nature of the properties and the level of investment they represent, means most potential customers want to see the finished product for themselves before making a commitment.

“Being able to explore the layout and appreciate the quality of the superior specification is an important part of the home buying process. Now that we have opened doors to the five-bedroom design know as ‘The Cherry Trees’, our customers can do just that.”

Current availability at Wrea Green includes a choice of four and five-bedroom homes, with prices from £394,995 to £599,995.

Traditional on the outside, they sit comfortably alongside existing properties in the village. Internally, however, they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features, including convivial open plan living spaces, well equipped kitchens and stylish bathrooms with quality fixtures and fittings.

“The Cherry Trees has an impressive double front – with traditional bay windows and timber detailing – that gives an indication of the generous living accommodation that hides behind the Arts and Crafts inspired exterior,” Christine explained.

“It features an expansive combined kitchen, breakfast area and family room that’s a great a place for families to spend real quality time together and is also well suited for entertaining. There’s also a separate dining room, plus a spacious lounge that’s full of lots of natural light thanks to the bay at the front and French doors that lead to the rear garden.”

Upstairs, two of the five bedrooms enjoy the benefit of an en-suite, with the master bedroom boasting the added glamour of a walk-in wardrobe.

Potential purchasers can ‘explore’ the area surrounding the new homes thanks to video footage available online at redrow.tv. It means that they can tour the village of Wrea Green – frequently named ‘Lancashire’s Best Kept Village’ – from the comfort of their own home or wherever they access the internet.

Wrea Green is just a short journey away from Lytham, Kirkham, Blackpool and Preston; while the motorway network is easily accessible via the M55.
