David 'Attenborough of the Antarctic' will be taking viewers on the ultimate polar adventure in "Frozen Planet", screened on Wednesdays on BBC One starting this week (26 October).  Viewers can journey to the ends of the earth to experience the frozen wilderness for themselves with Reef & Rainforest Tours' on one of the following extraordinary polar expeditions:

High Arctic Wildlife Adventure, 9 nights from £8,445 - Journey to the stunning wilderness of Nunavut, Arctic Canada, for an ultra-exclusive wildlife trip to see polar bears, narwhal - the 'unicorn of the sea' - and other amazing wildlife, before their habitat and hunting patterns are destroyed by changing global weather patterns.  Unlike most Arctic trips which are in larger groups arriving by cruise ship, this tour offers an intimate experience of the vastness of the Arctic, bringing guests to eye-level with the wildlife, whilst camping in comfort and style at the floe edge under the midnight sun.  Inuit guides, whose people have lived in this harsh, yet stunningly beautiful region for thousands of years, will use their age-old tracking and navigation skills and stories to enrich the tour.

Antarctic Dream Expedition, 10 nights, from £4,400 - Embark on a 10-night expedition onboard the Antarctic Dream, a Dutch built ice-strengthened expedition ship, the ideal introduction to the 'White Continent'. Departing from and finishing in the port of Ushuaia, the cruise takes in the most exciting sights of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula including gentoo penguins and elephant seals.

The trip departs 1, 11 and 21 November and 1 and 11 December 2011 and costs from £4,400 per person including:

Accommodation on board the expedition ship in Amundsen cabin
All meals on board
Lecturers and guides
Excursions/activities as stated
Excluding roundtrip flights from London to Ushuaia, from £1,265 per person.

Land of the Ice Bears - Exploring the High Arctic, 9 nights from £5,495 - Search for the kings of the Arctic - polar bears - onboard the National Geographic Explorer, a state-of-the-art expedition ship.  Travel through a land of deep fjords, snow-capped mountains, and massive ice sheets to encounter Svalbard's amazing wildlife: polar bear, reindeer and walrus.

The trip departs 8, 15, 22 and 29 June and 6 July 2012 and costs from £5,495 per person including:
