Christmas will be starting early for Cynthia Fowler who is looking forward to moving into her new home to one of Charles Church’s most exclusive developments in time for the festive season.

Miss Fowler, a former Air Commodore with the Royal Air Force, was won over as soon as she saw the magnificent houses being built at Pavilion Gardens in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire.

She says: “I was having a meal with a friend at The Bell in Aston Clinton, one of the most famous pubs in Britain, and I looked across the road and saw the hoardings for Pavilion Gardens.

“My mind was made up there and then. I went round as soon as possible to put down a deposit on a four bedroom Hemmingway II which is just perfect for me. Charles Church has an excellent reputation as a house builder and that was a big selling point for me, as was the development itself.”

Miss Fowler has been staying with a friend for several weeks after selling her five bedroom property in Aylesbury in just over a fortnight. She is hoping to move into her new property in mid-December following a holiday abroad.

She adds: “My friend has been exceptionally good to me and I have enjoyed staying with her, but I am really looking forward to moving and having my own property again.

“I bought my previous house in Aylesbury at a time when my parents were still alive so they could come and stay or even live with me if need be.

“My new home is a bit smaller which was exactly what I was looking for and is ideally located for me to travel via the A41 and M25 to carry out my many charitable commitments.

“It is also close to the golf club – a sport I have played all my life – and there is a doctors’ surgery and other amenities close by. I also have a particular love of wildlife and flowers and there is the most beautiful patch of wild orchids which I can walk to within half a mile.

“I have lived and worked in this area for a long time and I couldn’t be happier about moving to Pavilion Gardens and settling into my fabulous new home.”

Pavilion Gardens is an intimate development of just 14 two, four and five bedroom properties located in Aston Clinton, one of the county’s most historic and picturesque villages.

Set amidst the glorious countryside of the Chiltern Hills, the development offer easy access to a wide range of amenities, including excellent primary and senior schools, as well as good road and rail links. Wendover Railway Station enables commuters to reach London’s Marylebone Station in just under an hour.

Elaine Stratford, sales director for Charles Church Thames Valley, comments: “Our stunning new houses for sale at Pavilion Gardens offer traditional village life with the Chiltern Hills on the doorstep. Yet the development is conveniently connected by road and rail to essential town and city amenities.

“Understandably, demand for the development has been very high, with the selection of detached house-types appealing to executives, young couples and growing families, as well as those looking to downsize without compromising on space or character.

“With so many benefits to living here, including the picturesque location and the excellent Buckinghamshire grammar schools available, Pavilion Gardens is truly a choice destination.”

Properties currently available at Pavilion Gardens include the fabulous five bedroom Wendover house design. Priced at £734,950, this magnificent property features a lounge, kitchen / breakfast / family room, a dining room and study on the ground floor. Upstairs is a master bedroom with en suite and four further bedrooms, plus a family bathroom.
