Are you determined to step onto the property ladder but concerned that you don’t have enough funds to do so? Heard the word FirstBuy but don’t completely understand what the new home moving scheme is all about?

If so, you need to pay a visit to Persimmon Homes’ Riverside Gardens development in Kings Lynn where the Government-led 80 per cent FirstBuy scheme is now on offer.

Cheryl Bissett, sales director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands, is confident the initiative will help local househunters. She said: “As a Group Persimmon Homes has been given the largest allocation of properties through FirstBuy by the Government and we are delighted to be the only developer in Kings Lynn to offer the scheme.”

FirstBuy is offered through equity loan funding of up to 20 per cent of the purchase price split equally between the Homes and Communities Agency and Persimmon, with purchasers being required to raise funding (a mortgage plus deposit) of at least 80 per cent of the purchase price.

Riverside Gardens hosts a beautiful collection of three, four bedroom homes, with prices through the FirstBuy scheme starting from as little as £107,996.

Cheryl concludes: “Due to the limited supply of properties through the FirstBuy initiative at Riverside Gardens, I’d recommend househunters speak to our sales advisers sooner rather than later to find out how we can help find the home of your dreams.”

When complete the development will incorporate elements of open space and a footpath and cycleway adjacent to the River Gaywood, allowing residents to explore the picturesque surrounding area.

Riverside Gardens is located close to the heart of Kings Lynn, providing easy access to a great number of amenities, high street and local shopping facilities as well as eateries and good schooling. Commuters will be pleased to note that thanks to the frequent bus and train services, London’s Kings Cross station is little over 90 minutes away.
