The Australian Botanics Company launches in the UK

Company founder and pharmacist, Suresh Mistry created the company back in Australia by accident in 2005 after being burnt in the strong Australian sun whilst on a weekend break in North Queensland. Having a pharmacy background and an upbringing where traditional remedies were the norm, Suresh incorporated all three to create a fantastic and fun range of natural skin and body care products using Australian essential oils, Australian organics clays and extracts.

The Australian Botanics Company has a large range of natural and exciting feel-good products for the hair, face, hands, body and feet, including indulgence products such as bath salts. A percentage of the profits will support and benefit the aboriginal community of Australia.

The products are available online, in boutique shops, and some spas and natural food and health outlets. The products will also be sold throughout most of Europe via distributors, giving consumers an alternative choice to the chemical based skin care products that are out there already.

“I think consumers are becoming more aware of what they use and want to know what the ingredients are inside the products and what benefits they offer. As a result of this, each product has an identity card which lists all the ingredients and their benefits. This concept enables customers to be fully informed of all the ingredients they are using on their skin. We can even personalise face creams for our customers!”
