Inhouse Interiors steals the show

Earlier last year, a client in Esher, Surrey, contacted Inhouse Interiors for help with their children's playroom furniture design and creation.

Wanting to go bespoke to give their children a wonderful playroom, working area and performance stage; they approached a luxury department store in Knightsbridge for help. Impressed with the designs, but not the inflated price tag that came with them, they enlisted Inhouse Interiors - a bespoke furniture design house in Battersea, London. And, it paid off very well... Renowned for their quality and ingenuity, Inhouse gave 2 little children from Esher a very magical Christmas indeed.

The two young children at 2 and 4 years old, had a whole attic conversion to themselves, and Inhouse went right to work designing brightly coloured, playful furniture and storage areas...

Media area

A rainbow of shelving for media storage surrounds the TV area and includes closed and open storage areas in vibrant hues.

Toy Storage

Floor-to-ceiling storage in bright colours houses a huge number of toys in shelves and angled low level storage boxes. Included in the toy area and within 2 alcoves of the room, Inhouse inset wall-mounted storage boxes and a desk for each of the children - height adjustable of course, for when their little legs grow!

Messy-play area

A young artists' dream! This is a great little area complete with rubber flooring for those guaranteed spills. Inhouse provided another funky and vibrant area with high and low storage areas, open wall-mounted boxed storage, brightly coloured cupboards, drawers and a huge butterfly shaped magnetic wall-board for displaying all of those fantastical creations.

The Stage

This girl & boy double act were spoiled rotten when Inhouse designed them a dedicated performance stage. The raised platform, dotted with LED lighting and made with a 'bouncing' dance-floor, fills one corner of the playroom. Acting as a 'back-stage' area there are also 2 dressing-up wardrobes (for endless costume changes, of course!) with laser-cut motifs and names.
