Find out how to buy a new home, says Taylor Wimpey

Househunters keen to move up or onto the property ladder are invited to events across Teesside this weekend (4th February).

Organised by housebuilder Taylor Wimpey, the events will dispel some of the myths surrounding the difficulty of buying a new home and provide access to free expert advice.

While the property market continues to slowly pick up pace, Taylor Wimpey is concerned that many people on the lookout for a new house will not realise what is available to them and how housebuilder incentives can help them.

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, comments: “The events are designed to reassure househunters and also to provide them with information about the money saving schemes which are available to them. For example for first time buyers we offer the Government’s FirstBuy scheme at many of our developments and we also offer deposit help. For those with a home to sell our part exchange scheme is an excellent way to find a buyer for your current home without the hassle of being in a chain.

“If you’re looking to move house or simply want to know your options, please visit one of our local events and speak to our sales executives.”

The events will be held from 12 noon until 4pm at the following developments: Bridgewater View, Douglas Street, Middlesbrough; Hunley Manor, off Newbury Road, Brotton; Mallinson Park, Flatts Lane, Normanby; Orchard View, Orchard Road, Middlesbrough; Scholars’ Rise, Marton Road, Middlesbrough; Stainton Mews, Hemlington Road, Stainton and Thorntree Vale, Millbank Lane, Thornaby.

An Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) will be on hand at Thorntree Vale and Scholars’ Rise.
