Halifax wins Moneyfacts Best Customer Service Award

2nd February 2012 Print

Halifax has picked up the big prize at the latest Consumer Moneyfacts Awards after being named Best Customer Service provider at a ceremony at London's HAC.

The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards are based on consumer feedback, and this year received 60,000 completed surveys from the general public and resulted in 500,000 answers being analysed: the largest annual survey of its kind.

David Nicholson, Group Director, Halifax Community Bank, is thrilled the bank has been recognised by customers themselves: "I'm absolutely delighted that Halifax and our colleagues have stood out for giving extra to our customers," he said, "and the fact the awards are based on real consumer feedback is strong evidence that we are doing the right things.  It's a great start to the year, but we are looking forward to delivering even more for our customers in 2012."

The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards combine ‘honest consumer feedback' with ‘technically elite products' to reveal the ‘best all rounder' in each category.  As well as Best Customer Service, Halifax was also Highly Commended in the Best High Street Mortgage Provider, Best Current Account Provider, and Best Student Account Provider, as well as Commended in the Best ISA Provider category.
