2012 is undoubtedly a year for feeling patriotic. The Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics encourage us to enjoy, embrace and be proud of everything British this year. Focussing on high quality with enduring appeal, Rawlins George share their rich pickings from the interiors world:

Podesta was established by designer Matt Podesta 10 years ago. The company designs and makes bespoke fitted and free-standing furniture which is made by hand in their UK workshops. Wood veneers have been used playfully to create a Union Jack for the 'Jack' table. This table illustrates the high level of craftsmanship that Podesta applies to all their furniture. As a company that creates furniture according to a client's specifications, the Union Jack design can be incorporated into any design - dining table, side table, fitted wardrobes etc. Price on application.

Davidson has been furnishing some of the world's most glamorous hotels, private residences and yachts for the last 20 years. Inspiration is taken from classic designs of the 20th century which is then combined with contemporary lines to create timeless elegance. Designed and made in Britain, the design team also ensure that their products have international appeal and take great pride in seeing their furniture exported worldwide.

Fenella Smith is relatively new to the tableware scene, having introduced her nostalgic designs in spring 2011. Since then her product range has expanded with new patterns and forms being added, including the popular animal collection. Fenella's beautiful collections are made in Stoke-on-Trent using the best Cornish clay and combine good old-fashioned quality with modern practicality. Products are available to buy online and through UK stockists.

The Hungarian hand painted tableware company Herend has been a major supplier of high end pieces to our Royal family since 1851. As such, we feel they have earned their place on this page! Moreover, to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee they have designed a limited edition tea service... if it's good enough for the Queen, it's certainly good enough for us!

A regal teapot featuring a knob in the shape of a crown sits as part of a set which includes sugar dish and cream jug. There will be only 60 sets available exclusively to the UK and each piece will be numbered accordingly. Co-ordinating teacups, saucers and tea plates complete the service.

Sitting comfortably in our selection is David Seyfried. The company's upholstered furniture designs are all made in the UK using traditional methods. Quintessentially British, the collections range from traditional to contemporary and, in true British style, as much attention is given to the design of each piece as to the comfort.
