Podesta was established by designer Matt Podesta 10 years ago. The company designs and makes bespoke fitted and free-standing furniture which is made by hand in their UK workshops. Wood veneers have been used playfully to create a Union Jack for the 'Jack' table. This table illustrates the high level of craftsmanship that Podesta applies to all their furniture. The Hungarian hand painted tableware company Herend has been a major supplier of high end pieces to our Royal family since 1851. As such, we feel they have earned their place on this page! Moreover, to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee they have designed a limited edition tea service... if it's good enough for the Queen, it's certainly good enough for us!
A regal teapot featuring a knob in the shape of a crown sits as part of a set which includes sugar dish and cream jug. There will be only 60 sets available exclusively to the UK and each piece will be numbered accordingly. Co-ordinating teacups, saucers and tea plates complete the service.
