Time running out to buy at Crystal Gait

24th February 2012 Print

Glenrothes househunters in search of a fantastic four bedroom family home for under £180,000 should make their way to the popular Miller Homes’ Crystal Gait development this month as there are only a few opportunities left to buy.

And if they reserve before the 29th February, they will get £2,000 toward personalising their new home, such as carpets, upgraded kitchen units and appliances, if they buy through the housebuilder’s Home Exchange scheme.

Different from traditional part exchange, which usually requires a home owner to purchase a property worth at least 30 per cent more than their existing home to qualify, Miller Homes' Home Exchange scheme enables buyers to swap their old home for a brand new one, even if there is no difference between the value of the two, subject to a qualifying criteria.

Whether potential househunters want to upsize, downsize or simply go for a like-for-like new home, Home Exchange takes the stress out of selling, giving peace of mind a brand new home can be theirs in as little as 14 days.

Crystal Gait is the ideal location to raise a growing family and with prices starting at £179,000, each of the detached properties, complete with an integral garage, are extremely spacious.

The layout of the properties have been designed with the modern family in mind. All of the house styles including the Carsewell and Hughes have en-suite facilities leading from the master bedroom, whereas the Humber has an adjoining room that could be used as a study, dressing room or playroom.

Anne Marie Britton, Sales Director for Miller Home Scotland East, said: “Crystal Gait is a great development for people looking for a new home in Glenrothes as there is so much on offer. The location makes it ideal for those that commute to Edinburgh or Dundee, plus having the anticipated new sports and leisure centre within walking distance is an added bonus.

“There are only seven chances left to buy and if a househunter has been swithering whether to buy, I’d urge them to come along so they don’t miss out. The fact we have our Home Exchange scheme in place and £2,000 toward personalising their new home, there is no better time to visit.”
