It has been six years since award-winning housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes was last in Eastbourne with its hugely-successful Sovereign Harbour Marina development, Henley Park. Now Millwood is back in town with The Combe, a development of three stunning five-bed luxury detached homes.

More recently, the family-run company has built just up the coast in Cooden, near Bexhill-on-Sea, with another hugely popular development, Cooden Place. This select development of seven five-bedroom luxury detached homes offered Millwood’s impressive specification, high-quality finish and a truly idyllic location on peaceful Maple Walk with a mature wooded backdrop.

Not surprisingly, Cooden Place sold out within six months and is now an award-winning development. Site Manager Robert Baldock not only won an NHBC Pride in the Job Award last year for his work at the development, but also beat other site managers to win a Seal of Excellence. Millwood then went onto win the title of Best Small Builder for Cooden Place.

The development is now sold out. However, you need not be disappointed as Millwood’s new development in Eastbourne will bring you all the joys of seaside living with a beautiful home.

Sales Manager Richard Elliott is excited about returning to Eastbourne, saying, “The Combe is in a fantastic location in one of the most prestigious parts of Eastbourne, offering distant panoramic views. It sits next to the newly-designated South Downs National Park and about one-and-a-half miles from Eastbourne town centre. Here, you will find a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants, plus theatres and, nearby, a number of golf clubs.”

He continues, “Just like Cooden Place, the homes at The Combe will feature traditional exteriors to complement their Sussex surroundings, coupled with stylish contemporary interiors with designer kitchens, luxury bathrooms and a high-quality finish. I am also very pleased to announce that we have instructed the well-respected local estate agent Taylor Engley to market the properties for us and we are looking forward to working with them. I am sure that The Combe will be just as popular as Cooden Place so make sure to register your interest soon.”

For commuters, there are direct train services from Eastbourne to London Victoria in approximately one-and-a-half hours, and to Gatwick Airport in an hour. For families, there are some excellent schools in the area, including the highly-successful Ratton School and the independent Eastbourne College.
