Audi A4 For the third successive year Audi has stolen the show in the 2008 British Insurance Car Security Awards, not only scoring three category wins but also taking away the overall Manufacturer of the Year Award for the widest range of cars offering five star security.


At one of the most exciting and fastest races in Le Mans history, AUDI AG clinched another triumph at what is arguably the world’s toughest motor race.


The Audi R10 TDI remains unbeaten in the Le Mans 24 Hour race: in its third attempt, the diesel sportscar won the French endurance classic yet again.


In line with its pledge to cut CO2 output from its fleet by 20 per cent by 2012, Audi has just introduced its cleanest A4 TDI model ever, and at the same time launched an all-new 2.0 TFSI engine to complete its efficiency-focused overhaul of the A4 petrol range.


On 14/15 June Audi starts for the tenth time in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. For AUDI AG it is much more than just claiming a possible eighth overall victory in the French endurance classic: Quite probably the world’s hardest car race acts as test bench for new technology later used in street cars.


All set for the "race of the year": covering a total of almost 2,600 kilometres on the only official test day, the Audi drivers prepared themselves for the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans to be staged on 14 and 15 June.


Audi A4 After testing the new Audi A4 for passive crash safety, the Euro NCAP consortium awarded the vehicle five stars, the highest rating possible. The results achieved by the new Audi A4 for adult protection in frontal and side crashes as well as child and pedestrian protection make it one of the safest vehicles in its class.


At the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours on 14/15 June, the three Audi R10 TDI prototypes entered by Audi Sport Team Joest will race for the first time with the next generation of Biofuel manufactured from Biowaste and promising a reduction in the emission of CO2 by almost 90 per cent when compared with traditional diesel.


Gentex Corporation, the leading supplier of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors to the worldwide automotive industry, has announced that its SmartBeam High-Beam Headlamp Assist system - called “Fernlichtassistent” (FLA) by Audi - will be offered this spring on the Audi A4, A5 and Q7.


Audi TT clubsport quattro A new version of the crowd-pulling, speedster-style Audi TT clubsport quattro show car makes its debut this month at the Wörthersee Tour, the annual gathering of Audi and VW enthusiasts in Austria.
