As the credit crunch tightens its grip, French manufacturer, Citroen, says it has extended its 0%* finance offers to cover over half of its models.


With its prominent trademark chevrons, red and white paintjob and contemporary style, the Citroen sledge could be the coolest thing to hit the slopes this year.


The Citroen C2-R2 MAX has already got off to a winning debut on the all-asphalt Eger Rally in Hungary. Now, Simon Jean-Joseph, Jack Boyère and the rest of the PH Sport team will have to contend with the gravel stages of the Pirelli, the second event of the Citroen crew’s European programme this year.

As the impending budget focuses attention on fuel costs, figures from the latest New Car Fuel Consumption & Emission Figures, produced by the Department for Transport’s Agency, VCA, reveal that the Citroen C1 Diesel will consume just £736 of fuel to cover 12,000 miles -


Citroen showed three new models at Geneva – the estate version of the C5, and the Berlingo and Nemo van-based mini-MPVs. But perhaps a more significant change was harder to spot.
