Fiat Auto UK has joined forces with Akzo Nobel Coatings Limited and Fusion Management Solutions Limited to launch a new Approved Bodyshop Programme.

Hot on the heels of its nomination as Scottish Small Car of the Year, (27 October), Fiat Auto’s new Grande Punto has just received Autocar magazine’s coveted Design Award 2006, which was presented to Frank Stephenson, head of Fiat and Lancia Stile, at a ceremony in Brooklands on Tuesday evening, 14 November.

Elle Macpherson, the Australian supermodel, became the first person to get hold of an ignition key to Fiat Auto’s new Panda 100HP as it made its UK public debut at MPH ’06 in London’s Earls Court this week (Thursday 2 November).

Fiat Auto’s Grande Punto, which went on sale in the UK at the beginning of this year, has just been named Scottish Small Car of the Year by The Association of Scottish Motoring Writers in the Scottish Car of the Year Awards 2006.

In recent months, the Fiat brand has implemented a new strategy, which is underlined by the many new products that have been presented, and which will soon be joined by the new Fiat Bravo.

On 29 January 2007, the new Fiat Bravo will be presented to the international media in Rome, going on sale throughout mainland Europe during the following weeks. It will become available in the UK next summer.

A new breed of Panda will be making its UK public debut at MPH ’06, which opens at the NEC, Birmingham on Thursday 26 October, and then in London’s Earls Court on Thursday 2 November.
Fiat Auto’s strong resurgence in a ‘flat’ UK market, has just been confirmed by its September sales result, up by a remarkable 66% (11,411 units) compared to the same month last year (6864 units).

Fiat Auto’s Sedici 4x4 compact SUV, (Sport Utility Vehicle), has secured a major award in this year’s Caravan Club Towcar of the Year 2007 Competition.

Fiat Auto UK has just released a limited edition postage stamp to celebrate the sales success of its Grande Punto supermini. In conjunction with the Royal Mail, it has produced a stamp which depicts the dramatic front view of the car on a 1st class stamp.
