Honda has confirmed plans to bring its most exciting ‘green’ cars into production. The FCX hydrogen fuel cell car and a lightweight, hybrid sportscar will both be built – with a production version of the FCX making its debut next month.

Two striking new concept models will make their world premieres at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show later this month.

Honda Aircraft Company, Inc., has announced a series of major advancements to HondaJet design and to the HondaJet sales and service network at the annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention.

The latest generation of Honda’s humanoid robot, ASIMO, has made its European debut in Barcelona. The new ASIMO incorporates several significant technological advancements over its predecessors, including a more streamlined design, even more fluid and quick movements and the ability to run at almost 6 km/h (4 mph). The agile robot also has several other new mobility and intelligence capabilities.
The next generation Fit (sold as Jazz in European markets) will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show on 24 October, 2007. The car will go on sale in Japan in January ’08 but plans to bring the next generation model to the UK are still over 12 months away.

Honda presents its Accord Tourer Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007. For those that couldn’t make the show, images of the sporty and sleek-looking car are now available.

Research conducted by Honda (UK) has found that nearly half of all parents who drive their children to school, take only one child in their car. As a result there are over five million empty seats on Britain’s school run every day.
