Automobili Lamborghini SpA will expand its UK dealer network with a fifth dealership to open in Reading, Berkshire.

Leading automotive coating specialist Zircotec has been selected by Automobili Lamborghini to supply a new thermal barrier for its one million Euro Reventón car.

The city of Turin looked to the sky today to see the new heights achieved by Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Reventón was carried by military helicopter over the automotive capital of Italy, thanks to the special co-operation of the Marina Militare Italiana (the Italian marines).

The price of the new Lamborghini Gallardo Coupé LP560-4 in the UK has been confirmed. The new car, first shown at Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, replaces the original Gallardo Coupé launched in 2003.

Lamborghini has announced record sales figures for 2007, building and selling 2,406 cars worldwide: a 15% increase over the 2,087 cars delivered in 2006. A particularly strong sales increase of nearly 40% was recorded in the UK, with deliveries of 211 vehicles.

After strong sales and profit growth during the previous years, Automobili Lamborghini is heading for another record year in 2007. Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, has announced at Tokyo Motor Show that all the key indicators from the House of the Bull will show a strong results increase once more.

To celebrate Christmas Lamborghini-style, the Italian super sports car manufacturer has produced a pack of limited edition Christmas tree baubles.

Lamborghini has unveiled the Lamborghini Reventón at Frankfurt Motor Show. With a price tag of €1 million euros plus taxes, all of the 20 cars to be produced are pre sold to customers worldwide, with one car coming to a customer in the UK.

Lamborghini has announced its 2008 model year Gallardo and Murciélago LP640 models.
