BCA has launched the first-ever dedicated sales programme for Mini. The new 'Mini Select' Sale at the Nottingham auction centre has quickly become established as the place to be for Mini buyers and sellers alike. Around 80 Minis are regularly entered for the event, which is held on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

MINI dealerships across the UK will be putting the spotlight on the Approved used MINI programme, MINI Cherished, on the weekend of 2 nd and 3 rd June.


The 2007 MINI Challenge will be crammed this weekend (28-29 April), boasting a record breaking grid of 36 racers as it revs up for the first three rounds of the 2007 campaign at Snetterton, Norfolk.


The new MINI Cooper has received the highest-possible score of 5 stars in the Euro NCAP Crash Test. This latest achievement underlines superior safety, gutsy engines, razor-sharp steering and a finely-tuned chassis as key characteristics of the new MINI.


Mini Cooper D From April 2007, a new MINI One and the first ever MINI Cooper D joined the second-generation MINI line-up, five months after the launch of the new MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S models.


Six years after the start of series production, the one millionth MINI has rolled off the production line at Plant Oxford. This represents another milestone in the car’s history and highlights the continuing success story as rising global demand for the British-built car heads for new production and sales records.


On the evening of Wednesday, 28 March, 269 MINIs illuminated Blackpool and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest MINI convoy in the world. Owners travelled from as far as Croydon and Cardiff to be part of the historic two-mile route and help raise cash for Comic Relief.


MINI UK will be supporting national children’s charity KidsOut. The British-based car manufacturer plans to identify and create opportunities that will raise funds for the charity and the children it supports.


At the International Automobile Salon in Geneva, MINI has announced that the next derivative in its model range will be called MINI Clubman. Based on a concept first shown in Frankfurt in 2005, a ‘Shooting Brake’ body-styled car will be on sale in the UK before the end of 2007.
