SAAB 9-5 BioPower Saab Great Britain has announced that it will now take orders for the Saab 9-5 BioPower™, a flex-fuel car whose fossil CO2 emission level can be reduced by as much as 70 per cent compared to a standard petrol-engined car. Saab BioPower technology means that the 9-5 model is capable of running on either a high-blend mixture of eco-friendly renewable energy source bioethanol and petrol (E85), or on pure petrol, without any adjustment required by the driver.


SAAB Already flying high on numerous sales records in 2005, Saab Great Britain has yet another accolade to add to its trophy cabinet. With 4,919 cars registered in September 2005, last month was the Swedish premium marque’s best-ever month of sales in the UK since imports began in 1960. The previous record was set in August 1998, when 4,335 cars were sold. In fact, Saab Great Britain’s monthly sales total has only exceeded the 4,000 mark three times in the company’s history.


Saab Great Britain Limited surpassed all previous sales records for the Swedish premium car brand in the UK, by selling over 20,500 cars so far this year, an all-time record high. Saab's previous sales record, for full year 2004, at 20,294 cars, was exceeded this morning, with over three months of new car registration counting for 2005 still to go.


Saab 9-3 SportWagon Saab's eagerly-awaited 9-3 SportWagon is breaking sales records for the premium Swedish brand even before entering dealer showrooms.


Saab is well known for its prolific high-torque, turbo-charged performance engines, and robust, aircraft-inspired engineering quality. The discrete Swedish design and individuality of the brand and its products are also key attractions for Saab aficionados.
