Following Volvo’s successful partnership with Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie last year, Volvo is supporting the latest epic, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, with an all-new version of its hugely popular online Treasure Hunt. And, this year, Volvo has raided the ship’s hold for even bigger booty.
Volvo Car UK has seen used car prices strengthen across its range over the past four months following a change in strategy for used car disposal.

Easter is always the traditional start of the used car buying season and drivers now have four good reasons to visit their local Volvo dealer. A trio of models have scooped awards in the Used Car Honours 2007, published this week by Auto Express magazine and Volvo has also revealed plans to offer a wider range of older models through its approved pre-owned scheme, Volvo Selected Used Cars.

Volvo’s two best-selling models in 20061, the S40 saloon and V50 Sportswagon, have been given a comprehensive external and internal redesign to enhance their dynamism, versatility and safety even further, while visually drawing both models closer to Volvo’s all-new S (saloon) and V (estate) styling. With effect from 2008 Volvo model year, production starts in May and first customer cars will arrive in the UK in early July.
Volvo is upgrading and refining its dealer network by introducing selected Volvo Business Centres to provide a more comprehensive service for fleet customers.

Volvo is realigning UK prices and specifications of three key models within its range to offer customers even better value for money and standardise the price differentials between engines and trim levels. These changes more accurately reflect Volvo’s recently introduced Volvo C30 sports coupe positioning and are more comparable to Volvo’s premium rivals.
