The Toyota Hiace is a cool prospect for 2009, newly equipped as standard with air conditioning. The upgrade is one of a range of new features for the new model year, introduced to improve comfort on board, along with new-design seats with a smart-but-tough cloth upholstery and fabric covered door panels with an integrated armrest and panel for the power window controls.

Toyota has worked some motor sport magic on its legendary Hilux pick-up to create a special concept that’s big on both looks and performance.

When entrepreneur Edward Kydd took over a well-known air-conditioning company with a view to expanding it last year, he found that it relied on a make of van he had long appreciated himself – the Toyota Hiace.
