Spanair decides to sell Club Vacaciones

Spanair has made the decision to sell Club Vacaciones, which has been linked to the airline company for more than 20 years. This sale is part of the business strategy implemented by Spanair and SAS Group, to focus on the airline industry. Spanair owns at present 100% Club Vacaciones share capital.

Following the agreement signed in November, launching Spanair's mobile boarding service, Spanair and Vodafone have now extended their partnership to include spanair.mobi on Vodafone live! As part of its dedication to mobility services, Spanair has developed its spanair.mobi portal allowing accessibility from all mobile phones that have a direct internet connection.

Spanair obtains good punctuality results in January

Spanair's average punctuality rate was 90% in January 2008 while several days the company reached rates of above 95%. The average punctuality rate was above both Spanish Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat's airport average during this period.

Spanair to auction flights on eBay

Spanair is about to start auctioning flights on eBay.es, the biggest marketplace for buying and selling via the Internet in Spain. The initiative consists of an auction of up to 15 thousand flights to European and domestic destinations, including the Balearic and Canary Islands. As well as return flights, tickets may be bought only for one way.

Spanair increases presence in German market

With the launch of this new route, the company is increasing its direct flights from Spain to Germany offering excellent connection possibilities with its domestic network and intercontinental destinations via the Star Alliance network.

Spanair extends mobile boarding card service to Madrid and Barcelona

Spanair to strengthen its position in the Canary Islands

Spanair is strengthening its commitment to the Canary Islands, and will make almost three and a half million seats available this year to passengers travelling between the Canaries and mainland Spain, an increase of 17.4% compared to 2007.

Spainair improves punctuality guarantee

From November 5th Spanair is introducing considerable improvements to its Punctuality Guarantee in order to offer a better service and the highest quality standards to its customers. The company has extended its commitment until June 30th, 2008.
